DC and Warner Bros.

released the Justice League movie this week and the reception is very mixed.

The reception is not as bad as Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it falls short of the universal praise Wonder Woman got earlier this year.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie currently has a 40 percent rating from professional critics. The average score for the movie is a 5.2/10 meaning most reviews gave it 2 or 3 stars in total.

As of time of writing, 156 reviews have been counted. 62 reviewers give it a fresh rating, while 94 reviewers have given it a rotten rating instead. The critical consensus has been posted down below.

Justice League leaps over a number of DC movies, but its single bound isn't enough to shed the murky aesthetic, thin characters, and chaotic action that continue to dog the franchise.

The movie is doing better other DC films. Suicide Squad has a rating of only 26 percent.

As for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, that movie isn't that much better with a 27 percent rating. Justice League however is rated lower than Man of Steel and Wonder Woman with ratings of 55 percent and 92 percent respectively.

Whether or not the mixed reviews will affect the Box Office remains to be seen.

We reviewed the movie ourselves and thought it was a decent blockbuster action movie. Sure the story is cliche, but most movies released these days don't have unique stories.

That said, Justice League could do better than Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad since it has a lighter tone and more crowd pleasing moments.

If you want to see the movie, go watch it and make up your own mind. The best critic is your own opinion and not someone else's.
