It was reported not too long ago that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Vin Diesel had some beef with one another while filming The Fate of the Furious.

Now it has been reported that the pair have buried the hatchet and are fully committed to work with one another in Fast & Furious 9.

TMZ's sources say that both Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Vin Diesel have met privately several times and are now "good" with one another.

The pair are now determined more than ever to make Fast & Furious 9 a good movie. The Fate of the Furious is already a financial success earning the biggest worldwide box office weekend in history.

TMZ said that the beef was mainly due to both actors wanting to shine in the movie. One source says it was due to a clash of egos.

In the end, The Rock acknowledged that this is Vin Diesel's franchise so he gets top billing and is the true main star of the franchise.

The source says it was never about money since both actors earn a lot of money already.

There was reportedly going to be a post-credits scene involving The Rock and Jason Statham's character in The Fate of the Furious to set up a spin-off movie of their own. Vin Diesel apparently cut that scene out.

With the pair now in good terms, it's possible that scene could be re-added into the DVD/Blu-ray release.

It remains to be seen if Universal Pictures is interested in making a spin-off. It could be possible judging by how much money this series still makes around the world.
