From the Boston-based geniuses who brought you "Tessie," Irish punk rock band, the Dropkick Murphys, released a new music video for their holiday anthem, "The Season's Upon Us."

The song will be featured on their upcoming album, "Signed and Sealed in Blood," out January 8.

"The Season's Upon Us" is currently available for immediate download, and would make an awesome addition to your Christmas playlist. It's a four minute ode to good old-fashioned family mayhem during the holiday season.

It's a playfully charming and uncannily relatable song of good cheer about what it's like to be with your loved ones at this time of year. It's also really catchy and you'll be addicted for a while, so prepare yourself.

This video release comes after some tragic news in early November, when the Dropkick Murphys tour bus struck and killed a pedestrian in Texas while he was crossing a busy interstate highway.

"The police department in Round Rock, Texas, identified the man as Dalton Lane Clark, 23, of Cedar Park, Texas, and said it was investigating his death as an 'accidental fatality,'" the Boston Globe reported.

The band has since successfully funded a reported donation of $25,000 to the family of the deceased.

On a positive note, the Boston Globe recently reported the Dropkick Murphys to join the Foo Fighters's shows at Fenway Park in Summer 2015. Tickets are currently on sale.

Did someone say "most perfect Christmas gift ever?"
