When Justin Bieber broke The Beatles record of 14 charted songs on the Billboard Hot 100 with 17 of his own, we immediately began questioning whether or not Drake's Views would be able to beat that one.

It turns out he did manage to set the new record.

It's been quite a big year for Canadian artists. First Bieber and now Drake and his hit album Views.

Not only did Drake chart his first Hot 100 number one with "One Dance," he also managed to chart 19 other tracks from Views making the grand total 20 tracks and besting Bieber by three tracks.

"Drake passes the 17 songs that Justin Bieber boasted on the Dec. 5 Hot 100," according to Billboard.

"That sum bested the 14 each that the Beatles logged on April 11, 1964, and that, guess who, Drake earned on the March 7 and Oct. 17 charts in 2015."

Back in December when the Views fever was starting to set in, we questioned whether Drake could beat Bieber and believed to do so he would have to have a pretty lengthy tracklist, well he did have that lengthy tracklist, as well as songs that seem to resonate with a large amount of fans.

Drake also seems to be celebrating his first Hot 100 number one with a pair of Air Jordan Retro 6 sneakers dawning his album title on the sole.
