Dragonball Xenoverse, the anticipated game from Bandai Namco, has a release date.

Due out on February 13, the company also unveiled the Trunks Travel Edition of the game, which will come with a figurine of the popular sword-wielding character. A trailer for the special edition hit the Internet this week.

Trunks is a central character in Xenoverse's story mode. He tasks you with traveling through time and defeating the mysterious force that is disturbing the Dragonball universe.

In the anime, Trunks made his first appearance after Goku defeated Frieza. Frieza, now mostly machine, lands on Earth with plans of annihilating it. But Trunks shows up and easily casts him and his father aside.

It is later revealed that Trunks travelled back in time to warn everyone of impending doom; two androids would reveal themselves in a short amount of time and wreak havoc on Earth.

In addition to the figure, Bandai Namco also revealed that you will be able to play as Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta if you preorder the Trunks Travel Edition of Xenoverse. Super Saiyan 4 Goku was recently confirmed for the game.

And, now that Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta is confirmed, it leaves us wondering if Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta will also be included.

With Xenoverse's February 13 launch date on the horizon and a Dragonball new movie confirmed for 2015, fans of the franchise have a lot to be excited about for the coming year.
