Dragonball Xenoverse Network Test Characters Announced

BANDAI NAMCO Games, the company releasing "Dragonball Xenoverse,"announced via Twitter the characters that will be playable for their upcoming network test. The characters available are: Goku, Kid Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta.

The test is exclusively for the Playstation 3 and registration is closed; players will explore Toki Toki City in the test, where they will battle opponents from "all over the world," according to the Playstation Blog.

Dragonball Xenoverse is being developed by Dimps--the company famous for making the Budokai series, which is the most critically acclaimed video game franchise based on the anime. Players will assume the role of a custom hero in Xenoverse's story mode.

A villain is warping the Dragonball Z storyline, and it is up to you to fix it before balance is lost.

You will be able to unlock costumes worn by notable characters and learn their techniques in your quest for timeline salvation. You will be able to choose from multiple races, including Namekian and Saiyan.

Currently, there is no set release date for Xenoverse. But the game's official website stated that it is due out in early 2015.
