Diplo Release 'Doctor Pepper' Ft. CL, Riff Raff & OG Maco: Heavy Hitting Track

When you hear Diplo you'd expect an EDM/Trap infused hit that is party ready, well, this time with the release of his new track "Doctor Pepper" featuring CL, Riff Raff and Og Maco, Diplo is going the Hip-Hop route.

"Doctor Pepper" negates from the normal high intensity hits that Diplo is known for. Instead, Diplo enlists Hip-Hop acts CL, Riff Raff and OG Maco to bring his sinister beat to life. The song is still geared towards the party style of Diplo with references to red cups and it's braggadocios nature.
Riff Raff is a clear choice for this type of track but OG Maco's appearance is a bit surprising given the subject matter. Nonetheless, Maco spits a hot verse to bring the brand new Diplo track home.
It's not the first time Diplo decided to stray away from the EDM/Trap sound, his Major Lazer projects have shown influences of Reggae and Dancehall and one of his most recent Major Lazer ingles from the upcoming album "Peace Is The Mission," titled, "Night Riders" features Hip-Hop acts 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Travis Scott and Dancehall artist Mad Cobra.
Diplo said that he wanted to concentrate on the Major Lazer project but with this new release it looks like he's still taking care of business on the Diplo end of things. Check out the new track below.
