For the first time in his career, Denis Leary visited the Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show and discussed hanging out with the Rolling Stones, meeting David Bowie, his early career and even shared his reaction to Lenny Dykstra's interview from the previous show.

Leary was introduced to the show and Stern paid him a compliment by telling him that he looked the same as he did when he was working for MTV. Leary said that Stern looked younger than he did despite the fact that Leary is 58 and Stern is 62.

Stern brought up Cindy Crawford talking about how much she had a crush on him but Leary said he never heard of that before.

Being that Leary is one of the stars from the Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, he shared a few stories from his early life and hanging out with legends such as the Rolling Stones.

The interview included a story about how Leary was able to party with the Rolling Stones and the amount of women Mick Jagger was able to get. Leary said that Lenny Dykstra had nothing on Mick Jagger.

Meanwhile, Leary was a huge fan of David Bowie and met him while smoking a cigarette. Bowie struck up a conversation about Stephen Wright and wanted to know what he was like, after hearing that Leary was friends with Wright.

Leary started dispensing as much information as he knew about everyone. After that one meeting, Leary never saw Bowie again.

Interestingly enough, Leary was totally listening to the Lenny Dykstra interview from the previous day and said that it blew his mind. Leary is a huge Boston sports guy and said he didn't hear the beginning of the interview. He said he heard the section of the interview which was pretty explicit.

Stern said he thought it was the greatest interview he ever did. Leary said he thought Stern was handling the interview perfectly.

Leary was filled with awesome stories and the interview as a whole was fun and entertaining. You can listen to/stream Denis Leary's first interview on the Stern Show in the audio below.
