Daniel Craig Is Officially Back For James Bond 25

All of the rumors were true as Daniel Craig has officially confirmed that he will be back to play the role of James Bond in the franchise's 25th movie. The movie will be released in 2019.

This will be the fifth film that Daniel Craig will be starring as the James Bond character. His first outing as the character was back in 2006 in the excellent Casino Royale.

The official James Bond 007 Facebook page made the announcement earlier today. You can read about their statement down below.

Daniel Craig will return as 007 in Bond 25. The actor confirmed he would play James Bond for the fifth time to host Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. Bond 25 will be released in US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional early release in the UK and the rest of the world.

In the same interview with Stephen Colbert, Craig issued his recent statement about "slashing his wrists" about the thought of reprising the role. He said he was tired from a long shoot and was not graceful during that interview.

Craig wanted to reprise the role, but admitted he needed a break from it. Being Bond is a tiring role since there's a lot of physical work to be done and more media to attend as well.

Craig is not sure if he will be back for a sixth movie, but this might be his last outing. The actor will be the age of 51 by the time the 25th movie comes out.

He might be too old to do yet another film after 2019. Anyway, fans of Craig will be happy that he's doing one more movie. It will be interesting to see who else is cast in the film.
