The CW has really had some of the least turnover of all of the networks in recent seasons, with a large majority of shows getting renewed last season and now that has continued once again.

The CW has certainly been late with the announcements this, but they have now dished out 10 renewals for series, leaving only a few left up in the air at this point.

According to TVLine, The CW has announced the renewal of 10 of their shows that include The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Riverdale, Supernatural, Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and even the two rookie series Dynasty and Black Lightning.

It really is no surprise at all to see a renewal for the first six shows on this list at all, with all of them at least providing solid ratings.

Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend have never had really high ratings, but their critical reception has kept them going and will keep them going for another season.

However, star of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Rachel Bloom did confirm in a tweet that it would be the final season for the series.

Black Lightning has also continued the trend of successful CW superhero series, so it was no real surprise to see it get renewed.

The big surprise though is Dynasty, which has not managed to get much of an audience, even setting a record low recently on Fridays. However, they must have faith in the show growing, perhaps like Riverdale, in its second season.

With these renewals, that only leaves the fate up in the air for the currently airing iZombie and Life Sentence, the soon to come back The 100, and the all but dead Valor.

Life Sentence is looking like its on life support with the move to Friday already, so the best chances from this bunch to be renewed would be iZombie or The 100, which I personally hope to see happen.

It makes sense that The CW would mostly return series from this season with it expanding to an additional day with a two hour Sunday block being added in the Fall as well, so they had more space to work with than usual.
