A day that was 108 years in the making finally came when the Chicago Cubs won the World Series.

Naturally some of their stars are making their talk show rounds and Anthony Rizzo, Dexter Fowler and Ben Zobrist found themselves on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The guys sat down with Fallon who said that Zobrist was amazing. Chants of MVP came from the studio audience and his teammates clapped along.

Fallon also said that Zobrist was on the Royal's World Series team the year before and made the crazy decision of going to the Cubs.

Zobrist explained that he was a smalltown boy from Illinois so he really wanted to bring a championship home for the Cubs and his home state.

Zobrist made clear arguments for why he had to choose the Cubs. Meanwhile, Fowler added that it was incredible seeing all of the people.

He added that he would look over and just see a never-ending sea of people.

Fallon added that there will be tears when they go back to Wrigley field because there were grown men crying when the Cubs won the World Series.

Meanwhile, Fallon said there was a rumor circulating that Steve Bartman would be throwing out the first pitch when the team returned to Wrigley field next season.

For those who don't know, Bartman was the fan who was said to have cursed the team after he robbed Moises Alou of a catch that cost the Cubs big time.
