Early last week rapper Lil B of The Pack sent a tweet to Jay Electronica that sparked fans begging for a collaboration from the two.

The tweet simply read, "@JayElectronica love you - Lil B," and was then retweeted by Electronica.

The tweet seemed to send positive buzz between both fan bases but Electronica and "the based god" have yet to confirm whether or not there is a collaboration in the works.

Lil B is known for his song "Wonton Soup" and being the first rapper to write and publish a book at the age 19. Lil B is also popular on Twitter for creating themes for GirlTime's selfie Twitter page.

"Bay Area rapper Lil B (real name Brandon McCartney) is GirlTime's curator of selfies," says DailyDot.com. "He selects the theme and announces the sessions, much like he's done on his own Twitter page, where he has more than 750,000 followers."

Electronica (Timothy Elpadaro Thedford) is signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation and became famous for his "Act I: The Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)" mixtape as well as countless other songs.

He has also been in the news recently as rumors spread that he and Kate Rothschild called it quits on their relationship.

"After banking heiress Kate Rothschild left her husband, Ben Goldsmith, for Jay Electronica, she said the rapper had 'saved my life in many ways,'" says Daily Mail. "Now it would appear his rescue mission is over."

Fans of Electronica are really looking forward to his album, "Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn)" which he says will be released this year.

Well it is already August so being on Roc Nation, will he "pull a Beyonce" and drop the album without warning?

Either way see what fans had to say about a possible collaboration between the two.
