October came and went without Drake's Views From The 6 album release and now fans are frantically awaiting another sign of hope. While 2016 seems to be everyone's mind, could Views From The 6 drop on New Years Day?

We initially held Drake's connection to the month of October as a reason for a potential release date or at least surprise release of Views From The 6 in that month.

However, there was barely a sign from the camp that the project would indeed drop in October 2015.

That being said, Drake's "6 God is Watching" Billboard that went up in Toronto has now become sort of a Bat Signal for Drake fans. The only difference is fans are looking to the Billboard as a symbol of the Views From The 6 album rather than the rapper as a superhero.

Bare in mind Drake has hinted to January on the recently released What A Time To Be Alive collaboration album with Future.

"Just know it'll be January in no time," said Drake in his "30 for 30 Freestyle"

While there could very well be any day in January, we want to believe that Drake would go for the shock value and release the album as soon as the clock strikes midnight and we enter the year 2016. Media sites all over believe that Views From The 6 could be here very soon given the latest signs from Drake's camp.

However, if anyone has the ability to start the year off with a bang it's Drake. Do you think it's viable for Drake to release his album on New Years Day? Let us know in the comments section below.
