Zedd Signs Deal With Budweiser

Move over Justin Timberlake - one of our favorite EDM stars has taken over and signed a deal with Budweiser.

Zedd has officially gone platinum with Budweiser, signing to the "Turn Up Your Night" campaign. The new video airing during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday on CBS.

This isn't the first time EDM has made the move for beer campaigns.

Heineken enlisted Armin van Buuren for their "Dance More Drink Less" campaign, Bud Light Platinum supported ID&T's traveling music event Sensation while it ran across the states on its 2013 tour, and Avicii's debut single "Levels" was heard during the super bowl in 2012.

Vice President Rob McCarthy of Bud Light Brands stated, "this sponsorship trend signals a shift for the brand as it aims to connect with the largest music movement of millennials, EDM, and share the same musical passion points as its drinkers."

Zedd, who is nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording with his single "Clarity" featuring Foxes, has sprung onto the music scene in the past year or so. New music from the young electronic dance music producer will be debuting during the Budweiser television ads and commercials.

The 15 second commercial will premiere Zedd's new track "Find You" featuring Matthew Coma and Miriam Bryant, eluding to the Bud Light Platinum slogan in its lyrics.

The release of the single will drop on the same day as the Grammy's, January 26th.

The producer is excited to be working with Bud Light Platinum, and explained he has "brainstormed and thought of many unique and creative ways for working with Bud Light Platinum".
