Wild Party has announced that they will make their way across the pond to perform a number of winter tour dates in Texas this January.
Beginning on January 22nd, the band will perform in Houston, Austin, Bryan, Corpus Christi, El Paso, Beaumont and Dallas.
Wild Party, made up of vocalist Lincoln Kreifels, gutarist Lucas Hughes, bassist Jake Kreifels and drummer Ethan Kaufmann are still young and up-and-coming, but have certainly been around the block.
The band was put into the music scene spotlight in 2010 when they were offered to support The Wombats on their tour across the UK. Since then, the band has gained praise and support from critics around the world. John Kennedy of UK's XFM Radio picked up the band's "Take My Advice" single and broadcast it to millions upon millions of listeners around Europe.
Once the band gained support, they decided to first release a music video for "When I Get Older", a single and fan favorite of many.
This was only a year ago, in January of 2013, and since then, Nylon, Pop Matters, San Antonio Current, Dallas Observer and other music publications have supported the band through their musical career and rise.
It was only a few months back that Wild Party announced their signing to Old Friends Records, based in Huntington Beach, California.
Their new album is set to be released this coming summer, and be sure to catch the band on tour in the months to come.
