New Releases From Crystal Fighters

Here at Empty Lighthouse, we recently gave readers a preview to what Crystal Fighters were preparing for their upcoming remix package.

We now have even more releases from the group, including music videos for their tracks "Wave" and "Love Natural", as well as their 'LA Calling' remix package.

Earlier this fall, Crystal Fighters released their successful "You & I" remixes.

Now, the group is continuing to combine their "basque folk music with contemporary electronica on their most pit of good vibes," NYLON Magazine recently stated. All releases and tracks are available now on Atlantic Records.

The video release of "Wave" also came with a four-track remix EP, and has "made a big room bomb flipping the original's twinkling indie dance vocals and putting in her own a bass-bin rattling low-end and intimidating tribal vibes," Do Androids Dance recently described the release of the new EP featuring Brazzabelle, an LA based producer and DJ who transformed the 'Wave' track to her own.

Other artists who have added their own spin to the track are Charli XCX and TWIN iDOL.

Dancing Astronaut has described the release of the recent eleven-track 'LA Calling (Remixes)' EP as "French DJ Plezier takes the indie dance original and adds a subtle but contagious wave of claves and echoing pad work" and Earmilk states that Curses "transforms the track and darkens the mood, working in his signature build-up/drop mechanisms, and using his skills to distill and alter a selected amount of vocals."
