Marijuana Deathsquads is the ever-evolving, experimental project lead by Ryan Olson, (producer/writer of POLICA and GAYNGS), Isaac Gale, and Stefon Alexander (P.O.S).

With multiple drummers, a slew of electronic instruments, and highly effected vocals, their live shows are a violent onslaught of improvised yet tightly woven, jagged, intricate experimental sound.

SPIN describes their latest album Oh My Sexy Lord as a "ferocious new album...that fuses jagged grooves, scratchy analog effects, and robo-warped vocals into a full-length, experimental freakout."

Marijuana Deathsquads have also officially released their 30-minute opus "The River", which has been pressed to vinyl by the label Blood Of The Young.

"The River" was written as part of an art project which found the band performing on the waters of the Mississippi river in Minneapolis.

Meant to sound and feel like an actual river, this release is a true testament to Marijuana Deathsquads as musical visionaries, complete with a "particularly placed locked groove repeating .666 seconds of the lead up".
