Today, the rising New Zealand sensation, Lorde, premiered the music video for her second single off her debut album. The video for "Team" was inspired by a dream the singer and songwriter had a few months ago.

"The video was borne from a dream I had a few months ago about teenagers in their own world, a world with hierarchies and initations, where the boy who was second in command had acne on his face, and so did the girl who was the queen", she stated to her fans today on Facebook. "I dreamt about this world being so different to anything anyone had ever seen, a dark world full of tropical plans and ruins and sweat.

And of this world, I dreamt about tests that didn't need to be passed in order to be allowed in. sometimes the person who loses is stronger."

Lorde, only 16 years old, has become a huge rising success in the past few months, especially with her single "Royals" which has risen to the top of the charts around the world.

She has gained respect and praise from many other artists and members in the industry, and is the first solo artist from New Zealand to make it to the top of the US Billboard Charts, and the youngest artist to hold a number one spot in over 25 years.
