This Wednesday, November 27th, Lissie will be making her way through to perform at Pittsburgh's intimate music venue, Mr. Smalls.

This will be Lissie's second time performing in Pittsburgh in the past month, for a few weeks ago she opened up for Josh Groban at Consol Energy Center.

Lissie, born and raised in Illinois, is an American folk rock artist, and was named Paste Magazine's #1 Best New Solo Artist in 2010. She has spent her musical career recording and releasing her albums, and performing at festivals around the world.

Also last month, Lissie released her newest album, Back To Forever. The album has been described as, "sexy, with a voice that could shatter buildings and hearts" and "gifted and promising" by Filter Magazine and Rolling Stone. The album has gained a great deal of positive praise and attention from critics around the country.

Lissie also has had the opportunity to open for huge big-time names in the rock industry, including Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty.

Her voice has been compared to those of early Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks, with a strong powerhouse sound and impact on audiences, with a bit more fierceness.

Aside from stopping in Pittsburgh, Lissie has many more important stops on her North American tour including New York City, Chicago, LA, San Diego and Seattle.

She will be touring through mid-December, but be sure to check up with latest news and tour date announcements for 2014 at www.lissie.com, and look forward to hearing more from Lissie in the New Year.
