Yesterday marked the release date for Jaakko Eino Kalevi's Dreamzone EP. The album has been released on Weird World and includes four brand new tracks. Jaakko has much in store to go along with the release of his debut album.

Jaakko Eino Kalevi, who lives in Helsinki and works as a part-time tram diver, is considered somewhat of a cult figure in his hometown. The Finland artist is considered one of the country's most promising artists. His music is described as "psychedelic pop blended with funk and folk".

It is certainly different than anything music listeners have ever heard, but a unique and satisfying different. He taught himself how to play many instruments, but it is the drums where he feels most proficient and the happiest while playing.

Jaakko has released tons of his own music on many different independent and local labels for the past few years, but it is now that he released Dreamzone, his debut EP on Weird World. His full length album is due out next spring, so Dreamzone is just a taste to fans about what to expect in the future. The EP is described as a step into the mind of Jaakko, a hyper-vivd fantasy world full of softness and adultness.

Listening to the tracks off of Dreamzone is like living in your own little fantasy world, with no bothers from anyone or anything. The music is so thrilling and unique, you don't ever want to step out of that "dreamzone".
