Out now and free to download through file sharing forerunners BitTorrent comes Gramatik's hotly anticipated LP, The Age Of Reason.

After a year hiatus from a full-length release, the 15-track album is the delivery his cult and devoted fan base have been waiting for, and with BitTorrent by his side, it's also the message he has been working to ingrain throughout his illustrious career.

Not only a stunning and diverse journey through a range of unique sounds, The Age Of Reason seeks to create a dialogue of "freeing music by making music free" amongst the business and public alike so go ahead and grab it HERE as a free download via BitTorrent.

Perhaps Gramatik's most ambitious record to date, TAOR is an amalgamation of samples and live instrumentals so varied it's like nothing heard ever before from himself, nor fellow producers alike. A master class through each individual track, he harmonises elements of soul and blues with rock and hip-hop, by way of dubstep and electro and all the way back. Easing the listener in with "Brave Men," we settle with a familiar album intro from any artist before all hell breaks loose in typical Gramatik style. Channeling the iconic dubstep swirl with a soulful sample courtesy of Eskobars, Denis sets the tone for the next 14 tracks to come.

Whether it be the rock rhythms of "Torture," the electro-swing splices that furnish "Expect Us" or the frenzy of electronic synths amongst "Bluestep," no track bleeds into another and not one fails to stand on its own two feet. Of course, Gramatik was not alone in the making of these wonders in The Age Of Reason.

An all-star cast of collaborators gathered for his first full release on Lowtemp, with the likes of Gibbz, Orlando Napier along with Gramatik's very own funk collective, Exmag each on board throughout.

All working tirelessly towards unique sounding electronic music with the Lowtemp label (that Gramatik himself started), TAOR is an incredible release and makes for exciting listening as we barely scratch the surface of the New Year.

In a conversation with BitTorrent, Denis chats about the album itself, the future of his music and the future music in general. Here's what he had to say to the download giant: "An enlightened music industry would first lose the word "industry" from its name. I guess like any other enlightened system.

It would be strongly based on fairness on all possible fronts.

Everything else is just maintenance. I don't believe I'll witness that change in my lifetime, but I'll do everything I can to help it become a reality for the next generation."

The Age Of Reason marks an incredible start to the year for Gramatik and in characteristic style it's not long till he takes the record on the road.

To hold us over until then, the full lineup is revealed for Gramatik's headlining performance at Red Rocks on May 17th, including ten-piece funk band, Lettuce, plus Lowtemp labelmates Exmag, Branx, and Gibbz.

Fan club presale tickets will be available this Wednesday, January 29th at 2pm EST, and general admission tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 2nd, at 12pm EST.
