When we think of Art the first thing that comes to mind might be creativity. Not many people view cans as Art but every year in New York City there is an event called the Canstruction competition.

This is an event of Art in the most unique way imaginable. As creative as any Art event can become this is one that stands on the top of the pedestal.

It is gathering of minds that brings people of many different walks of life together and shows off their talented display of art making by the unique way of using cans as Art.

This past year they donated their cans after the event to the homeless people that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. It is a wonderful way to display Art and creativity. With many designs that range from sneakers to even cartoon characters it is a must see event that cannot be ignored. This event takes place at the beginning of the year.

On Jan 31st the people involved will work feverishly to complete their projects and everything will be displayed for the public sometime in February. All of this happens at Brookfield Place World Finical Center Complex, which is located on 220 Vessey Street in Downtown Manhattan.

Save the date! You owe it to yourself to see something so rare, so modern, and so moving. I truly believe there is something here for everyone.
