A new trailer for the Legend of Korra has been released.

Developed by Platinum Games, it will take place between Books 2 and 3 of the TV series. The new teaser detailed some of the combat and story that the game will offer.

"(Korra's) abilities are stripped away by a mysterious old man at the beginning of the game," Atsushi Kurooka--the game's producer--stated.

"As you complete each stage, she regains her bending abilities, and by using them during the battles her levels will increase."

Korra is the only currently living person in the Avatar universe who can bend all four elements. With this, Platinum Games will enable you to combine Earth, Water, Air, and Fire to defeat your enemies in over-the-top ways.

In terms of story, it will be about the "not so good" consequences that came about when Korra decided to keep the portal to the spirit world open at the end of Book 2. And she "will have to answer" for misdeeds committed by her past lives.

There is a small time jump between the end of Book 2 and the beginning of Book 3, so expect the story to be brief.

The Legend of Korra will be available for fans to download on October 21. For more about the game, visit its official website here. And stay tuned for our review of the latest Korra episode this Friday.
