Musicians all over are honoring Prince in creative ways and Coldplay's Chris Martin decided to join the A-Side band for his tribute.

Martin and the A-Side band comprised of Eighth Graders jammed out to Prince's "Raspberry Beret" and it was pretty awesome.

"Martin played the 'Chords 2 Cure' benefit concert in Santa Monica on Sunday in support of research for pediatric cancer," according to Billboard.

"When the singer reached the end of his three-song stint on stage, he launched into a rendition of Prince's summery pop classic 'Raspberry Beret' with support from A-Side, a band of school kids."

The performance was pretty awesome as Martin joked that most of the kids who were 14 didn't really know what "Raspberry Beret" was or who Prince was for that matter.

Martin and Coldplay released their latest album A Head Full of Dreams in December of 2015 and have played a number of big shows since. You can watch Martin and A-Side perform Prince's "Raspberry Beret" in the video below.
