The new Charlie's Angels movie reboot has finally found its main cast. Even though early reports were mostly accurate, one change has been made to today's announcement.

As reported by Variety, their sources have confirmed that the new Charlie's Angels movie will be headlined by Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Naomi Scott (Power Rangers) and Ella Balinska (Midsomer Murders).

The only change from the original reports is that Ella Balinska replaces Lupita Nyong'o (Black Panther).

There has been no reason why the change has been made, but it's possible it could be due to scheduling conflicts. Lupita Nyong'o's stock has risen in Hollywood recently so she's in pretty high demand right now.

Charlie's Angels will be directed by Elizabeth Banks and she will also play the character of Bosley.

The movie has a new release date changing from June 7, 2019 until September 27, 2019. The release date change could be a good thing as it avoids stiff competition from other summer blockbuster movies.

This is the second time a movie version of Charlie's Angels has been put on the big screen. In the early '00s, two movies were made consisting of a lineup that included Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.

Rebooting Charlie's Angels for a modern audience has been risky in recent memory.

A TV reboot aired a few years ago that starred Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), but low ratings and bad reviews caused that to be canceled after just a few episodes aired in its first season.
