Bubba the Love Sponge is a hard man to keep down.
The radio personality has been fired numerous times and a few years ago he had to deal with SiriusXM low-balling him in negotiations despite the fact that he had the second most popular show on satellite radio behind only Howard Stern.
That diss followed one a few years earlier when SiriusXM had offered so little the the BTLS team had to go back to traditional terrestrial radio, a challenging place to be for the raunchy crew.
That however did not stop Bubba from once again rebuilding his career from the ashes and finding a way to succeed in a medium that has mostly become bland hosts and dull jokes.
The outspoken host took to Twitter to celebrate the latest affiliate his show has picked up while throwing it in the face of his detractors.
When we start jan 5 in takao that will make it 9 affiliates. Not bad for a radio show that only attracts dirt footed morons. #icebergahead
