It's being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Batista wants to wrestle one last time in the WWE. Unlike Goldberg and other past stars, Batista wants a schedule similar to Chris Jericho where he can work on a full time basis for up to six months to even one year.

Batista is wanting to go all-in as he's interested in doing house shows and every other PPV and televised event.

Again, this is what Chris Jericho has been doing recently which is different to the super part-time schedule that Brock Lesnar currently has.

That being said, Batista may have to choose a time that suits his Hollywood career. Marvel still wants to make Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in the near future and his character Drax is expected to return.

Drax will already be a part of Avengers: Infinity War although Batista has already filmed all of his parts. Currently, he is filming the untitled Avengers 4 movie which won't be out until 2019.

The main reason he wants to come back is to have a proper send off to his professional wrestling career. Batista returned to the WWE in the first half of 2014 but plans did not go smoothly.

Due to the popularity of Daniel Bryan at the time, fans booed at Batista's return to the spotlight.

He then had to become a heel (bad guy), but then he left in order to do promotional work for the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

If Batista does come back for one more run, he wants his final match to be against Triple H. Personally, I'd love to see Batista back for one more run since he can have a lot of great matches with the new wrestlers he hasn't met before.
