Not understanding that hip-hop lyrics aren't always meant to be taken literally, Azealia Banks has taken to Twitter to condemn Eminem for his controversial line about punching Lana Del Rey. ??Here's the full Eminem verse in context:??

"But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/ Play nice? B**** I'll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/ 'Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens."

??Banks' tweets have since been deleted, but she claimed that she would punch him right back and advised to the "West Coast" singer to "tell him to go back to his trailer park and eat his microwave hot pocket dinner and suck on his sisters' tiddies (sic)"??

Lana Del Rey has yet to comment on the controversy, but has publicly declared her appreciation of Eminem's music in the past: "When I found Eminem for the first time, he really changed my life because I didn't know that music could be intelligent" said the singer in a 2012 interview for RNBJunk.??

In related news, Azealia Banks recently surprised her fans by releasing her long-delayed debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste.

No stranger to controversy, Banks has previously tried to get a rise out of other artists on social media platforms.

Her latest feud was with the UK production duo Disclosure, who chastised Banks for revealing their collaboration on Twitter before anything definite materialized, saying "People now think we've made the greatest song of all time...and it doesn't even have a chorus yet."

Banks also called out Pharrell after the two collaborated on "ATM Jam," and the singer opted to not participate in the video shoot, a decision Banks blamed on Pharrell's "lite (sic) skin comeback."

??Eminem will release Shady XV, a Shady Records greatest hits album that also features new music, on November 22. Shady XV will feature collaborations with D-12 and Yellawolf.
