Assassin's Creed: Rogue is coming to PC in early 2015, according to IGN.

You play as Shay in the game--the traitorous assassin who now works as a Templar. The sailing mechanic from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be featured in Rogue.

But, instead of the tropical Caribbean, you will navigate the Arctic in a quest for vengeance.

Shay was a skilled assassin, but after the order makes him"slaughter innocents," he defects to the Templars, becoming an ally to Haytham Kenway--the antagonist of Assassin's Creed III.

This is the first time you will be able play as a Templar, and--in order to survive--you will need to be wary of assassins lurking in the shadows.

Rogue will be released for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 the same day as Assassin's Creed Unity--the franchises main title of this year.

In Unity, you will play as Arno, who will try to quell suffering in the French Revolution, which is one of the bloodiest times in European History.

When IGN asked Ubisoft about a Playstation 4 and Xbox One version of Rogue, the latter declined comment.

The new installments of the Assassin's Creed franchise launch on November 11. For more about Assassin's Creed, go to the series official website here. For more about Ubisoft, visit their official website here.
