Benjamin Constantine (a.k.a Ben Sea, a.k.a. Plump Oyster) is an illustrator from Brisbane, Australia, whose self-published comics and prints have been making their rounds on the internet lately.

Constantine's illustrations closely resemble the work of pop surrealist Gary Baseman, with their playfully dark themes and cartoon-like aesthetic. He frequently blends traditional media, like ink, with digital media, using programs like Photoshop to color and fine tune his pieces.

His work is teeming with energy, every inch of page filled with expressive line work; from curly strands of chest hair to tiny beads of sweat and snaking greenery, the amount of texture and detail is almost overwhelming.
