The Terminator franchise has a juice of energy now that James Cameron is back on board to help steer the series into the right direction. Star Arnold Schwarzenegger has now talked briefly about what the new film might be like.

TheTerminatorFans had a chance to interview Arnold Schwarzenegger and he revealed a few new tidbits about Terminator 6.

The first thing he said is the fact that it won't be called Terminator 6 even though it will be the sixth movie in the franchise.

It will have a different name mainly because it won't follow the storylines from the preceeding three movies.

This is important because Schwarzenegger also confirmed that the new movie will not follow the events that occurred in Genisys.

Schwarzenegger said that the sixth movie will ignore the story that Genisys set up. This new movie will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2 meaning Terminator 3 and Terminator Salvation are also going to be ignored.

Some sad news about the sixth film is that it will not include Robert Patrick's T-1000. It might center around another villainous Terminator.

Lastly, he confirmed that Linda Hamiton (Sarah Connor) is currently training to get in shape for the role.

This means she will do action and won't just be hiding in the background. It's also great that the Sarah Connor character is back since they killed her off in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines saying she died of leukemia.

There's still no release date for the movie, but it will be out soon. It's being directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) with James Cameron producing and helping map out the story and script.
