With no big new releases out recently, DC's Aquaman is on top of the Box Office yet again. Not only is it dominating in North America, because it's still getting a lot of money from around the world too.

As reported by Box Office Pro, Aquaman was number one for the third weekend in a row ever since it launched back in December 21st, 2018. This week, the movie earned an estimated $30.7 million with a current domestic tally of $259.7 million.

Aquaman has easily surpassed the North American total of Justice League which was $229 million and now it could be closing in on Man of Steel's total which is $291 million.

With no big competition in sight, Aquaman should easily gross over $300 million in the next couple of weeks. The only big competition it faces later this month is the movie Glass.

Aquaman has also surpassed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to become the highest grossing DCEU film of all time. The movie has now made $940.7 million worldwide!

The only DC movies left for it to pass is Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
