On tonight's season finale of NBC's "America's Got Talent," the final six acts found out which one of them would be crowned the winner and receive the grand prize of $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas.

Radio City Music Hall and judges Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, Mel B, and Heidi Klum saw the final performances by the six finalists: AcroArmy, Emily West (her Twitter and Instagram), Mat Franco (@MatFrancoMagic), Miguel Dakota (his Instagram and Twitter), Quintavious Johnson (@thequintavious), and Sons of Serendip (@SonsOfSerendip).

Celebrity guests Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Hudson, Lenny Kravitz, Train, Pitbull, Travis Barker, Rosie O'Donnell, Cyndi Lauper, and The Rockettes also performed, with some of them doing duet performances with the finalists.

But despite all of the live performances, the results still had to be presented.

America voted during last night's performance show and decided who would be the final act with the bright lights shining on them as the winner of season nine.

The first act to be voted off tonight and coming in sixth place this season was singer/guitarist Miguel Dakota. Coming in fifth place was 12-year-old R&B singer Quintavious Johnson, while the band Sons of Serendip finished in fourth place.

Finishing in third place was the acrobatic troupe AcroArmy, leaving magician Mat Franco and singer Emily West as the final acts in the competition.

In the end America voted Mat Franco as the winner, and he will receive the grand prize of $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas
