Emmy award-winning actress Allison Janney visited the ladies on the "The View" Friday morning, and chatted about her career, both on the screen and the stage.

Most recently, Janney can be seen on CBS sitcom, "Mom", and Shotimes "Masters of Sex", kicking ass and taking names as the courageous female she plays so well.

But Whoopi Goldberg asked when she was going to return to the stage, and Janney reacted in a very eager and excited manner.

"I want to come back to the stage, so badly," Janney says. She says she may have found something, and hopes that it will be sooner than later.

Janney's stage career has earned her a prominent reputation on Broadway. She's starred in the revival drama "A View From The Bridge" and the comedy musical "9 to 5", and now hints at a reprise.

While she was reluctant to give too many details of her career on "The View", Broadway World recently reported that Janney will star alongside Susan Sarandon in an upcoming film, "Whatever Makes You Happy." So we'll continue to keep an ear out for any stage performances in Janney's future.

Also while on "The View", Nicole Wallace said she is a HUGE fan of Allison Janney, and her role as CJ Cregg on The West Wing inspired Wallace to go to Washington and work in the White House.

Wallace worked in the White House for six years, and Janney was very grateful to hear Wallace's story.
