Always at the vanguard of contemporary electronic innovation, UK's Alex Metric is geared to release a new package of three meticulously produced future-house tracks as his 'Hope' EP, coming on April 22nd.

Building off of his previous releases, including his groundbreaking three-part 'Ammunition' EP series, the London-based beatsmith has set himself apart with his keen ability to reinterpret and pay homage to the great genres of UK dance past while grasping today's bass trends and intertwining both to push the envelope. The EP's opener and title track is an instantly hypnotizing take on electro house that originally was reserved for DJ sets, but after a groundswell of attention Alex determined that it "seemed too good to not properly unleash on the world." The next cut, "Spiritism", is an exercise in minimalism with a focus on the analog, while the EP's closer "Galaxy" is a retrofuturist disco epic perfect for getting bodies in motion.

Both "Hope" and "Galaxy" feature the unequaled writing and production chops from uber talented duo Oliver. Undoubtedly Alex Metric will parlay his unparalleled vision and technical ability displayed on the Hope EP into continued prominence going into 2014.
