Alessia Cara's hit song "Here" is growing in popularity to the point where she is being noticed by artists like Major Lazer who said they were "feeling the Fallon performance, appreciate what she has to say and are looking forward to the music." The music video for "Here" has hit over 3 million views on YouTube and ask Cara tells fans in the story of how the song came about, the simulated party in the video was based on a real life event.

In the "How I Wrote That Song" feature on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Cara rehashed the story about a party where she really felt she didn't belong and there were a ton of crazy things that happened while she was there. She then explained that when she was working with her production company she began ranting about the party she attended and the rant transformed into one of the first songs she wrote for her upcoming EP titled "Four Pink Walls." The songs on the EP will also be featured on Cara's debut album "Know It All" according to a tweet from the artist.
