Fans of Asia Kate Dillon know her from incredible roles such as those in Orange Is the New Black and Billions. The actor recently visited The Ellen Show to explain what a non-binary gender identification is.
DeGeneres told Dillon how happy she was to have the actor there and wanted to learn more about the non-binary identification. Dillon's character on the show is a non-binary, which means that their gender identity falls outside of the box of man or woman.
Dillon uses the singular they, them and their pronouns. However, when she was doing research for the character for Billions, she realized that you can be a female binary.
According to Dillon, sex and identity are different from each other. The actor said that sex refers to what's between your legs and gender is what is between your ears.
