'90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Episode 5: Jorge and Anfisa Split? And Shocking Abuse Claims

Tonight was the fifth episode of 90 Day Fiance season 5.

We were in suspense all week long about the fate of Anfisa and Jorge's relationship and what sort of dirt Mohamed was digging up on Danielle to build a "case" against her.

Read on to find out the juicy details about what happened this week.

90 Day Fiance: Danielle and Mohamed

Danielle has her court date for her annulment, which is coming up in a couple of weeks. Danielle wants to get her case ready against Mohamed to prove that he used her for a green card.

She meets up with her sister and her brother-in-law to see if they can help her build her case.

But her family are disappointed in Danielle's tendency to forgive Mohamed and allow him to use her. They believe that Danielle might actually pull the annulment in a couple of days, given her tendency to bend to Mohamed's will.

Mohamed meets with his friend Diamond and finds out that Danielle has been contacting her via Facebook nonstop and warning her to stay away from Mohamed. Mohamed articulates how crazy Danielle is. Diamond cautions Mohamed to be careful.

Mohamed has to return to Ohio for his court date with Danielle and talks about feeling afraid of people since Danielle has been "spreading lies" about him on social media.

Meanwhile, Danielle goes shopping for a court outfit that will make her look serious.

90 Day Fiance: Chantel and Pedro

Chantel and Pedro are getting ready to go to the Dominican Republic so that their families can meet each other.

Danielle is nervous that their families won't get along given that she requested a prenup and Pedro's mother called Danielle's family a set of "stupid Americans."

Chantel is angry that Pedro wants to bring back so many gifts for his mother and feels that Pedro's family is a set of "freeloaders." She's frustrated that she and Pedro work hard only to fund Pedro's family's life.

Chantel's family are skeptical about meeting Pedro's family but feel that they need to be mature.

On the other hand, Pedro's family are upset that Chantel asked Pedro to sign a pre-nuptial agreement. Another awkward moment arises when Pedro's family start hammering him with questions about the TV that he promised them.

Even Pedro is a little surprised by how aggressive his sister. She's only placated when Chantel tells her that they'll send the TV by mail.

Next, Chantel's family are invited for dinner at Pedro's family's house. The moment is truly awkward for everyone.

When they get to Pedro's mother's home, Chantel and her family are upset that the home is as nice as it is. It becomes clear that Pedro's marriage to Chantel has allowed Pedro's family a step up in life.

Chantel's parents are upset about all of the gifts that Pedro brings his family. When Chantel's parents are served chicken feet, the situation gets worse because Chantel's parents feel they are disrespected by the food.

A major fight erupts in which the two sets of parents begin to battle it out. But after Chantel's parents leave, it becomes clear that Pedro's mother did mean to disrespect Chantel's parents.

On the next family outing, the parents manage to get along and Pedro and Chantel feel encouraged.

However, when Chantel's family drives to Pedro's former home and discover how his family used to live, they grow even more concerned about Pedro using Chantel.

Chantel's parents' concerns prompt Chantel to confront Pedro about their financial situation and why he continues to send money back home. Shockingly, Chantel winds up leaving with her own family.

90 Day Fiance: Anfisa and Jorge

Anfisa has decided that she's had it with Jorge and tells him to leave their home. Anfisa feels she needs "some space." Jorge moves into a hotel for a while.

Jorge talks about how the fight that he and Anfisa had after their blowout with his sister was different from other fights because their dispute crossed the line this time. Anfisa said some unforgivable things to Jorge.

Anfisa talks about how she only has enough money to support herself for a few months. Still, she says that she'll continue to remain separated from Jorge until he realizes what he did was wrong.

Anfisa goes out to lunch with her friend and updates her about the situation with Jorge.

Anfisa also discusses all of the plastic surgery she wants to get and feels grateful for the support from her friend Miranda.

Next, Jorge sits down with his sister and tells her what's been going on between him and Anfisa. He discusses his revelation about Anfisa. Interestingly, Jorge's sister predicts that he's going to try to make things work with Anfisa.

Meanwhile, on Instagram, Anfisa said this:

Did you guys know that neglecting your spouse and having total control of money(financial abuse) in a relationship is considered domestic violence? Why aren't people talking about this? Do Americans have more rights than foreigners when it comes to DV? That's a serious matter that is being completely ignored. Maybe I need to bring more awareness to this.

90 Day Fiance: Loren and Alexei

Loren decides to take Alexei's mother grocery shopping at an Israeli grocery store where she can buy a number of things to make Alexei's favorite dishes.

Loren wants Alxei's mother to see that she can make a life for herself in the US.

When they return home, Alexei's mother teaches Loren to make a few of Alexei's favorite dishes.

Loren wants Alexei's parents to be close by so that he will feel truly happy and settled.

Next, Loren makes an appointment for her mother-in-law to meet with an immigration lawyer who informs her and their family about the process.

Loren is disappointed that while bringing Alexei's parents to the US will be easy, it will be a major wait for his brother.

After the meeting, Loren and her mother-in-law sit down with Alexei to tell him what they learned. It's tough on Alexei to find out that bringing his brother to the US will be tough.

90 Day Fiance: Paola and Russ

Paola and Russ face off with Paola's agent over the issue of her not working for the past couple of months.

Paola feels betrayed given that she moved to Miami on the recommendation of her agent but still hasn't worked.

When Russ goes in with Paola, they find out that her agent hasn't even added her to their online database for jobs.

Paola decides to simply start over with her agent and give her another chance but Russ continues to remain skeptical.

In this episode, Paola also has Russ meet with the photographer who took Paola's last set of photos.

At the meeting, one of Paola's modeling idols also joins them alongside her husband. Both Allen the photographer and Paola are hoping that meeting this couple will help Russ to feel more comfortable with the direction Paola's career is taking.
