2017 Life Is Beautiful Festival To Feature Gorillaz, Chance The Rapper, Wiz Khalifa and More

Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival has officially announced the highly anticipated music, art and comedy lineups for the 2017 festival.

Returning for the fifth year, the three-day event will transform Downtown Las Vegas into a fully immersive celebration of music, art, food and ideas, Sept. 22-24.

From GRAMMY Award winners to emerging artists, the Life is Beautiful music lineup features more than 60 unique and exciting acts, designed to delight and entertain festivalgoers.

This year's artists include the 2017 GRAMMY Award winning "Best New Artist" Chance the Rapper, chart-topping progressive rock band Muse, British virtual band Gorillaz, pop songstress Lorde, legendary rockers Blink-182, indie pop trio The xx, American DJ and producer Kaskade, and many more.

"We could not be more excited about the amazing and diverse lineup of performers we have put together for our fans to enjoy this year," said Life is Beautiful CEO Justin Weniger.

"We are so proud that in our five years Life is Beautiful has evolved into not only a distinctive three-day celebration, but a year-long movement that promotes positivity, embraces diversity and inspires change."

Offering an interactive art experience, the festival will bring back the popular Art Motel installation, which will be reimagined by Santa Fe art collective Meow Wolf.

Life is Beautiful will also present the second evolution of the popular "Crime on Canvas" art exhibit, which allows festivalgoers to view and purchase original artwork and rare prints by prominent local, national and international artists.

The gallery will display work by Matt Skiba, Mark Ryden, Shag, Tara McPherson, Shepard Fairey, Brandon Boyd and many more.

"Every year, we aim to create a festival experience unlike any other as well as leave a lasting impression on our downtown community," said Ryan Doherty, Chief Experience Officer at Life is Beautiful.

"With each edition of Life is Beautiful, we bring together some of the world's greatest artists to create large scale art installations and immersive exhibits as well as vibrant street murals that live on throughout the year, making our city an ever-changing art gallery for everyone to enjoy."

Scientist, educator and fan favorite Bill Nye will return to Life is Beautiful to wow and educate attendees with an exciting speech as part of the festival's Ideas Series.

Thousands flocked to Nye's 2015 appearance where America's favorite scientist inspired the audience to appreciate science and help change the world.

Bringing back the laughs, the comedy showcase will return to the festival with hilarious performances by top comedians such as Matthew Broussard, Mike Lawrence, Jo Firestone and more.

Life is Beautiful introduced comedy in 2016 to continue to offer an all-encompassing experience for attendees.

The trailer not only highlights the festival's lineup but also brings together some of Las Vegas' top entertainers for the first time on one stage, including Cirque du Soleil's Mystere, KA, Michael Jackson ONE and The Beatles LOVE as well as Louie Anderson, Absinthe, Blue Man Group, Carrot Top and Piff the Magic Dragon.
