WWE: Triple H vs Jinder Mahal Could Occur In India This December

The WWE is touring India this December and a big main event has already been teased. Triple H has challenged former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal to a one-on-one match at the event happening later this year.

Triple H first requested the match on Twitter. Jinder Mahal accepted the challenge on his own Twitter account.

Mahal said: "Triple H not only the biggest match in Indian History, but also of my career. Consider the challenge accepted by me, now @wweindia and #wweuniverse India let's all make this happen."

This match is expected to take place on December 9th, 2017 inside the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, India.

India has a very enthusiastic wrestling fanbase and WWE wants to capitalize on the big market. This is the reason why Mahal has received a huge push this year.

The fact that this match might be happening already has some fans guessing about the future. Some fans think this is a sign that AJ Styles might still be the WWE Champion.

It won't make sense for Mahal to be WWE Champion again just to defend it against a part-timer like Triple H. AJ Styles won the championship last week and could stay champion for much longer than we thought.

The fact that Triple H wants to wrestle Mahal is good news for the 'Modern Day Maharaja'.

Triple H doesn't put on his wrestling boots very often and only challenges people that he thinks is worthy. It's possible Triple H will lose the match in order to make Mahal look good in front of the Indian people.

It remains to be seen if WWE will be broadcasting the Indian tour on the WWE Network. I'm hoping the match gets televised since Mahal vs. Triple H is a match we have not seen before.
