WWE Title Match At WrestleMania 33 Could Be Changing

It was initially expected that the WWE Title match at WrestleMania 33 would be a contest between Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt. Now it seems as if WWE has changed their minds on that match and something else could be in the works.

I personally had my doubts on a Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt match at WrestleMania 33 because the match they had a few months ago at No Mercy failed to meet expectations. In my opinion, a singles match between these two at the biggest show of the year was unlikely going to steal the show.

WWE may have had similar doubts because this week's episode of Smackdown Live hints that the WWE Title match is changing. In the storyline, Randy Orton is refusing to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33 because he's his "brother" so to speak. Due to Orton's refusal, a new number one contender needs to be found.

On next week's episode of Smackdown Live, they are going to hold a Battle Royal to see who faces Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33 instead. The winner of that match will become the new number one contender. The current favorites to win are either AJ Styles or Luke Harper.

In reality, it's highly unlikely Randy Orton is going to miss WrestleMania 33. He will probably be inserted into the WWE Title match sooner rather than later making it a Triple Threat. Many people believe Luke Harper will win the Battle Royal making it a trio of Wyatt family members going at it at WrestleMania 33.

I like the idea of adding a third man into the match because it should be more exciting. As I already mentioned, a singles match between Orton and Wyatt wasn't going to set the crowd on fire. An additional man in the match is sure to make the match more fast-paced and interesting.
