WWE Great Balls of Fire may have a bad name, but the PPV is looking good on paper. The main event could be awesome if it doesn't become yet another "suplex city" style of match.

Not to mention Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman could also steal the show.

The road to SummerSlam 2017 draws near so the winners of this event are likely going to headline the big PPV in August.

With that being said, here are our predictions for the WWE Great Balls of Fire event happening this Sunday.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Neville (c) vs. Akira Tozawa (with Titus O'Neil): This is the pre-show match and the Cruiserweight division has had a bit of a shakeup this week.

This is because Austin Aries recently got released from the company. With Aries gone, Neville is pretty much going to dominate even longer. I'm a fan of Akira Tozawa, although I don't see him dethroning the "King" just yet.

Iron Man Tag Team Championship Match - Cesaro and Sheamus (c) vs. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy): Sheamus and Cesaro have been champs for a few weeks and have been quite impressive so far.

These two were enemies last year, but have managed to make a great team ever since they joined together.

The Hardy Boyz wowed everyone at WrestleMania 33, but their nostalgia gimmick can only last for a short while. I'm hoping Sheamus and Cesaro can beat them here so they can become "Broken" again.

Intercontinental Championship - The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose: These two have been wrestling one another for far too long. The rematches are getting boring and stale.

Not to mention their characters have not changed and they've all had generic singles matches. Hopefully The Miz can win here so he can feud with someone else. As for Dean Ambrose, maybe a Shield reunion is in the cards?

Enzo Amore vs. Big Cass: I don't think I need to say anything more about this match.

Big Cass is going to squash Enzo Amore easily. Big Cass will be a big heel while Amore is likely going to move to the Cruiserweight division. This match is sure to last only 2 minutes tops.

Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt: Seth Rollins is the favorite due to being the bigger star.

Rollins is liked by many people and is favored by both Triple H and Vince McMahon. The same cannot be said about Bray Wyatt who is a glorified jobber. Wyatt is going to lose and will fall further into obscurity...

Raw Women's Championship - Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks: Alexa Bliss has been on fire lately and a PPV like Great Balls of Fire is too early to stop her momentum.

Sasha Banks has been coasting lately and I feel she needs to be a heel soon. It will be interesting if we see a double turn in this match. We could see a rematch at SummerSlam.

Ambulance Match - Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman: This could be the match of the night as these two have had great matches in the past. Both of them have been protected well so it's hard to predict a winner here.

The rumored main event for SummerSlam is Strowman vs. Lesnar so I'm predicting Strowman will win. Strowman needs to win after losing some momentum being injured for the past few weeks.

WWE Universal Championship - Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Samoa Joe: Samoa Joe has impressed lately, although I'm not sure if he can take down Brock Lesnar.

Many fans want Samoa Joe to win since he's a full time wrestler. Lesnar is still the favorite as he might be holding on to the belt for one year.

Hopefully this match is fast and smash mouth.

Lesnar's matches have been kind of boring lately with him spamming the German Suplex over and over again. Samoa Joe is not a small guy so he should be able to get more offense if this is booked right.
