The first solo female superhero movie is almost upon us with the highly anticipated Wonder Woman.

Set to release in theaters on June 2 in the US, we've been wondering when the review embargo would be for the movie and now we know not only that, but also the movie's runtime.

Wonder Woman is the next movie in the DC Extended Universe of movies that follows up on Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad.

However, while we have already seen Wonder Woman in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman serves as her origin story that takes place back during World War I.

Getting to focus on Wonder Woman from back in a setting that is rarely seen in film with World War I, many have been very hopeful about the movie.

Early reactions online from select few that have seen it praised the movie a lot, but we've also seen that before with other movies that ended up being critically panned like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.

As revealed by Batman-News, the review embargo for Wonder Woman will be on May 31.

This could always be moved up with the premiere coming on May 25, but that is the set date for now, putting it out only a day ahead of some foreign releases of the movie.

An additional piece of information has also come out about Wonder Woman via the Fandango listing for the movie. According to this, the movie's runtime will be two hours and 21 minutes.

This comes in at just two minutes shorter than Man of Steel and 10 minutes shorter than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

It is not the shortest DCEU film to date though, as Suicide Squad was only two hours and three minutes long.
