Why love Cassadee Pope? Well, why not?

The singer/songwriter has come a long way ever since she began her career as a musician.

From her pop-punk days to the new life she has found as a country star, the 25-year-old Florida native is keeping herself busy on the road while remaining down to earth and humble.

Cassadee started off her career as the lead singer of band Hey Monday, known for singles such as "How You Love Me Now" and "Candles." Together, they toured with bands like Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and Yellowcard, and also played the stage on the Vans Warped Tour.

In a male-dominant industry, Cassadee was one of the guys while she was on the road with her bandmates, but still maintained her girly flair.

After the band announced their hiatus in 2011, Cassadee ventured off into a solo career. She released a self-titled EP in 2012, followed by her time as a contestant on NBC's hit show The Voice. A few of the songs she covered while on the show reached #1 on the iTunes chart.

Fans of the singer were able to witness her in a new light and hear her talent beyond what they were already familiar with. She also gained more fans, which resulted in her rise to the top, becoming the winner of season 3.

It was then that Cassadee went down a different path musically, turning to country music.

Cassadee's win led her into a whirlwind of success. She has performed with/opened for big names like Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, and Dierks Bentley.

Her debut album, Frame By Frame, reached the #1 spot on iTunes. And at the 2014 CMT Music Awards, she won "Breakthrough Video of the Year" for her single "Wasting All These Tears."

It was also recently announced that Cassadee is raising awareness for domestic violence. She is putting her fame to use by spreading the word about the Don't Look Away Campaign, which supports women who are or have been in abusive and violent relationships.

Although she's never been a victim herself, Cassadee has mentioned friendships she's had with those involved in domestic violence, and understands the importance of bringing this problem to people's attention.

It is safe to say that Cassadee has seen nothing but accomplishments along with positive vibes from her fans, "Cassettes," as she calls them. Despite the fame she has been welcomed to after her win on The Voice, she is still appreciative of her "Cassettes" and enjoys posting to her Instagram and Twitter accounts to keep the world updated on the goings on in her hectic life.

She also remains light-hearted, smiling, and playful, standing as a role model and inspiration for both young girls and women.

And those longtime Cassadee fans have watched her go from the punky, leading lady of Hey Monday to a more girl-next-door type of style. Overall, who wouldn't want to get to know her?

Cassadee is currently working on material for a second album, having already released a part of a new song called "Let Me Go."
