Today, TLC released a video of Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben Seewald discussing the birth of their new son.

Although there wasn't much news about the baby himself, one very interesting thing that was announced was the name: Henry Wilberforce Seewald.

Henry Wilberforce? Wilberforce appears to be a reference to Christian hero William Wilberforce, according to Christianity Today. William Wilberforce was what they call a philanthropist, although his biggest claim to fame was his work in fighting slavery.

After attending Cambridge, William Wilberforce joined parliament. He became interested in the issue of the slave trade:

So enormous, so dreadful, so irremediable did the trade's wickedness appear that my own mind was completely made up for abolition. Let the consequences be what they would: I from this time determined that I would never rest until I had effected its abolition.

But Wilberforce was also known for promoting a Christian lifestyle. He tried to reintroduce "morals" to the people -- abstaining from alcohol, and other worldly pursuits. And he looked to get rid of "vice."

William Wilberforce also supported many other causes, and was known to have given away a fourth of his wealth to the poor.

Jessa and Ben's chose the name "Henry Wilberforce Seewald" after a long deliberation. Their first son's name is Spurgeon. He was also named after a notable Christian, Charles Spurgeon, who was a famous Baptist preacher.
