Watch Seth Meyers Call Out Trump For Charlottesville on 'Late Night'

Seth Meyers took 14 minutes tonight to call out Donald Trump and his Nazi followers in his A Closer Look segment on The Late Show.

He started the segment by pointing out that the makers of the Tiki torch denounced the rally, saying "you know it's bad when the thing you were angrily waving denounces you." He compared it to torches denouncing going after Frankenstein.

Meyers listed all of the people who Trump insulted recently, including people who drink Diet Coke.

But he noted Trump's condemnation of Nazis was "limp d--k city". He also noted that hating Nazis was supposed to be the last thing we all agreed on.

He also noted that it shouldn't take longer for a President to do the right thing than to get a package from Amazon.

Separately, Meyers took a somber moment to address the terror event in Charlottesville, and to speak seriously about the matter. In the video below he points out the President's original remarks about Charlottesville.

Meyers noted that "pencils down on this subject was Saturday evening. He only gets very partial credit." Meyers then went on to list the many racist and xenophobic actions that Trump has taken since he began running for President.

At the end of the statement, Meyers said that "you can stand for a nation or you can stand for a hateful movement, but you can't do both."
