Vanessa Hudgens is the star of NBC's latest comic book-inspired hit show Powerless.

She stopped by The Ellen Show to catch up on what's going on in her life and opened up about the death of her father.

The multi-talented actress also chatted about her new show and what it's like to be "Queen of Coachella."

DeGeneres introduced Hudgens to the stage and revealed that it had been three years since she visited the show. The host congratulated Hudgens on the success of Grease Live! Hudgens then chatted about Powerless and her character who works at Wayne Securities.

If the name sounds familiar, that's because it's a branch of Bruce Wayne Industries, which DC comic fans will recognize instantly.

She described the creations they make to try and help people who may get caught in the middle of a super showdown. Hudgens said it was really fun and crossed her fingers hoping it would carry out into a long-standing show.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres asked Hudgens about being the Queen of Coachella and who she is excited to see this year. Hudgens said she was really stoked for all of the headliners in 2017.

She is of course excited to see Beyonce and how she will perform after announcing she is pregnant with twins and is also looking forward to seeing Radiohead again. DeGeneres challenged Hudgens to wear an outfit that she would provide and the goal is for Hudgens to make the cover of a magazine with the outfit on.

The prize? $10,000 to the charity of her choice.
