Tyrese Gibson is still angry at Dwyane 'The Rock' Johnson for him taking on the Fast and Furious spinoff movie. He feels The Rock is the reason why the ninth movie has had to be delayed by another year.

In an exclusive interview, TMZ caught up with Tyrese and he is not a happy camper. Tyrese says he doesn't hate the spinoff movie idea, he just hates the fact that the film had to be made at roughly around the same time.

The spinoff basically took the original release date of Fast and Furious 9. You can read more of his comments made down below.

I just got a problem with Dwayne when it appears he's being selfish. It appears that he's so focused on furthering his own self-interest; he's making decisions from the seat that he's sitting.

He says the Fast and Furious crew are a family and there rarely has been a release date delay for any of the movies.

The only movie that suffered a delay was Furious 7, but that was due to the tragic death of Paul Walker. Tyrese is still annoyed the ninth movie is delayed simply because The Rock wants to make his own movie.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has yet to respond directly to Tyrese about it. It seems as if Tyrese is the only person from the cast that hates the release date delay.

Everyone else doesn't feel like it's a big deal.

After all, many movies in Hollywood get delayed for various reasons, while some movies get cancelled altogether.

It will be interesting to see if Tyrese and The Rock can settle their differences if they meet each once again in the near future.
