Early Monday morning, Hilary Duff and Swedish singer Tove Lo posted pictures of the themselves together in a studio in Sweden. Does this mean we can expect some musical magic from the gal pals in the near future?

As reported by PopDust.com, Hilary Duff is in Sweden to work on new songs for her comeback album.

"Hopefully her trip to Sweden -home of some of pop music's biggest and best hitmakers- will yield some amazing stuff and we'll finally get that new Hilary album sometime this year," PopDust reported.

It wouldn't be surprising if Tove Lo was in studio to crank out some incredible beats with Duff.

Swedish pop songstress Tove Lo recently shot to stardom with her hit single "Habits (Stay High)" followed by a prime spot on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack, curated by the lord of New Zealand pop, Lorde.

Tove Lo's debut studio album, "Queen of the Clouds," peaked at 14 on the US Billboard 200, and 6 in Sweden.

Also, judging by Tove Lo's use of the hashtag #wolfcousins, she could be working with Duff on writing new songs for her album.

Wolf Cousins is the songwriting collective Lo is apart of with other Swedish songwriters, including Max Martin, who has written a number of major hits for classic pop stars like Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Duff's original release date for her comeback album was supposed to be released in October 2014, but she later announced it's delay. While she didn't give a specific reason, Duff also has an acting career to focus on.

All things considered, it looks like Duff is buckling down and turning to the pop skills of Swedish stars for a boost in the ranks.
