Much like many other films, movie studios usually do early test screenings in order to see if a certain movie can be improved before it launches.

Well reportedly a very early test screening has already been done for Aquaman and audiences are apparently liking what they have seen from DC's movie so far.

This new report comes from DC reporter Batman-News.com who tweeted out that his two sources say Aquaman is a good film. You can read his tweet on the subject down below.

So far two different sources told me they loved #Aquaman! There’s tons of action but it’s a very emotional movie as well.

That said, early test screenings aren't always indicative of what the critics or average movie goers might like.

After all, some fans loved both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League and both of those films had polarizing reviews and reactions from a lot of people.

Aside from last year's Wonder Woman, the current DCEU has had a rough time. Man of Steel, Suicide Squad and the aforementioned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League have all not been universally praised.

Warner Bros and DC are only releasing one comic book movie this year and that's Aquaman. Since Jason Momoa's portrayal of the character in Justice League was well received, there's a glimmer of hope the movie is a success.

Not to mention the film is being directed by James Wan who helmed the entertaining Furious 7. DC and Warner Bros could have the right ingredients for Aquaman to have a similar success rate as Wonder Woman.

It will be a long time until we will see any type of trailer for the film. It's only February and the movie is not out in North America until December 21st, 2018.
